All Things

Quite often, our circumstances cause us to lose focus on what we have prayed for. Those circumstances cause us to wonder what God is waiting on. They cause us to doubt that God is working on our behalf or that He is listening to us. Our challenge is to recognize that God is always preparing us for something better. We do not always like our circumstances. Remember that when Jesus was on the cross, He was in an uncomfortable place, but what He experienced on the cross allows us all to have victory today. He could have come down from the cross, but He endured it. Everything He experienced was for the good of all who loved Him. In our lives, we must remember that everything we endure — particularly the things that make us feel uncomfortable, lonely, forsaken, or even sad — all these things work together for our good... yes, even when it does not feel good. Know that our worst times are often followed by our most memorable blessings. Next time you find yourself in a tough spot, tell God that you know He is about to bless you.

Romans 8:28 (KJV) — "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
