As long as we are here on earth there will always be people that are poor and needy. Some are just more fortunate than others. There are people that are great with finances and exceed what others can do, then there are others that can barely make ends meet. These are the people that we must do our best to support and make sure that they have enough to have a decent existence. Jesus has compelled us to help our brother as He helped them during His life here on earth. The word of God compels us to do all we can for those that we can help. As good Christians we must follow God's word.

Proverbs 28:27 — "Those who give to the poor will lack nothing, but those who close their eyes to them receive many curses."
