The Value Of A Woman

Women influence everything that happens anywhere and everywhere. It was God's decision that life flows through women. When Israel was in great need of a leader, God raised up a woman named Deborah. People came to her as she sat under a palm tree for wisdom and judgment. Even Barak, a great warrior, was called to lead Israel's army against a powerful enemy commander — he told Deborah he would only go into battle if she went with him. She agreed, but told him plainly that the victory would not bring him the glory, because "the Lord will deliver Sisera into the hands of a woman." She was correct, and the army was victorious, and she gave God the glory. Sometimes God calls the unexpected person, in an unexpected moment, to do exactly what needs to be done. God uses women to do great things. Thank God for women.

Judges 4:9 (NIV) — "'Certainly I will go with you,' said Deborah. 'But because of the course you are taking, the honor will not be yours, for the Lord will deliver Sisera into the hands of a woman.' So Deborah went with Barak to Kedesh."
